Delete your PlateLingo account

Delete in the app

Sign in to the account, open Settings → Account, choose Delete Account, and confirm. The app sends an authenticated deletion request and signs out after the server confirms deletion.

If you cannot access the app

Send a request to 330182696@qq.com with the subject “PlateLingo account deletion request”. State whether you used Apple or Google sign-in and the approximate last login date. Do not send a password, identity token, store receipt, or purchase token. Support will use a privacy-preserving verification process before deleting the account.

What is deleted

The active PlateLingo account, profile, login tokens, translation-job records, and account-linked purchase-verification records are deleted. Images are never uploaded and temporary images are removed by the app when a session ends.

To prevent repeated deletion from resetting the three-use trial, we retain only an app-scoped one-way provider identifier and the successful trial count. If a lifetime purchase was verified, we also retain a token-free binding between its store transaction identifier and that one-way account identifier. These minimal anti-abuse records contain no name, email, profile image, menu text, translation, receipt, or purchase token.

Store purchases

Deleting the PlateLingo account does not delete an Apple or Google account and does not erase transaction records controlled by the app store. Contact the relevant store for refunds or store-account questions.
