Privacy Policy

1. Scope and controller

This policy applies to the Currency Lens mobile applications and the Currency Lens pages on pixelantrip.cn. The service is provided by 徐州像素蚂蚁网络科技有限公司 (the “Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). For privacy questions, email 330182696@qq.com.

2. Information stored on your device

The app stores language, selected countries and currencies, recent amounts, exchange records, dates, notes, manual rates, cached exchange rates, and refresh times on your device. We do not operate a Currency Lens account database and do not receive your exchange log.

Your operating system may include local app data in an encrypted device or cloud backup according to your Apple or Google backup settings. We cannot access those backups.

3. Camera and price recognition

Camera permission is requested only when you use live price conversion. Camera frames, recognized text, detected prices, and conversion results are processed on the device and are not uploaded to the Developer. The app does not request microphone, precise location, contacts, photo-library, storage, or advertising-tracking permission.

On Android, local text recognition uses Google ML Kit. Google states that input images and recognized output remain on-device. The SDK may send app and device information, a per-installation identifier, feature-usage metrics, performance data, and diagnostics to Google for app functionality and analytics. Google states that this data is encrypted in transit. See ML Kit data disclosure and ML Kit terms.

4. Exchange-rate requests

When you refresh rates, the app makes HTTPS requests to configured exchange-rate services and fallback sources, currently including exchangerate.fun, Frankfurter, Cloudflare Pages, jsDelivr, and GitHub-hosted public rate files. These providers receive technical information needed to deliver a request, such as IP address, request time, user agent, device connection information, and security logs.

We use these services only to provide reference rates, improve availability, and prevent abuse. We do not combine their logs with a Currency Lens account or use them for advertising. Provider retention and security practices are governed by their own policies.

5. App distribution

Apple App Store or Google Play distributes the app and processes the optional one-time AR purchase under its own terms and privacy policy. Currency Lens reads product information, transaction status, and purchase entitlement so it can unlock or restore access. The Developer does not request, receive, or store payment-card details.

6. Website data

The Currency Lens website is static and does not set advertising cookies, create user accounts, or include a behavioral analytics SDK. The hosting provider may process IP address, request time, requested page, browser or device information, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.

If you email support, we receive the sender address, message content, and any files you voluntarily attach. Do not send passwords or camera images containing sensitive information. Support correspondence is used only to respond, diagnose the issue, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

7. Purposes and legal bases

Depending on your location, we process limited information to perform the service you request, comply with legal obligations, protect the app and website, and pursue legitimate interests in service reliability and support. Camera access is controlled by your operating-system permission and can be withdrawn at any time. Store providers process app distribution under their own agreements with you.

8. Sharing, sale, and tracking

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for cross-app tracking. Information is processed by service providers only as needed to deliver exchange rates, local recognition support metrics, app distribution, website hosting, email support, security, or legal compliance.

We may disclose information if required by valid law, court order, or to protect users, the public, or our legal rights. We do not authorize service providers to use Currency Lens data for their own targeted advertising.

9. Retention, deletion, and controls

• Delete individual exchange records inside the app.
• Delete all local app content by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
• Manage operating-system backups in your Apple or Google account settings.
• Revoke Camera access in system settings. Rates and exchange logs remain available; only camera conversion stops.
• Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain security records, and meet legal obligations.

Because we do not maintain a Currency Lens user account or receive exchange records, we have no developer-server account data or exchange log to delete. Third-party network and store logs are retained under each provider’s policy and legal obligations.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and to complain to a data-protection authority. You may also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

Email 330182696@qq.com to make a request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify and locate the relevant support correspondence. We cannot provide data we do not possess or directly control.

11. Children and international processing

Currency Lens is a general travel utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request a child’s name, contact details, location, or camera content. Network, store, hosting, and email providers may process limited technical data in countries outside your own, subject to safeguards required by their policies and applicable law.

12. Security, changes, and contact

App network traffic uses HTTPS, and local app data is protected by the security controls of your device. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your operating system updated and protect access to your device and store account.

We may update this policy when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. We will change the effective date above and publish material updates on this page and, where appropriate, in the app.
