Backpacker Ledger
Privacy Policy

1. Data we process
Guest bookkeeping stays on your device unless you choose a cloud feature. When you sign in, we process your review-account name or Apple/Google account identifier, profile details, security logs, and membership status. Shared ledgers contain the records and member information that participants submit. Store verification includes product, transaction, and purchase-token data.
2. How we use data
We use data only to authenticate you, operate shared ledgers and membership, prevent abuse, provide support, and comply with law. Backpacker Ledger does not include analytics or crash-reporting SDKs in this edition.
3. Storage and international transfer
Account and shared-ledger data is stored on our physical server in mainland China. Using these online features from another country transfers that data to China. Local guest records remain on your device.
4. Service providers
Apple and Google provide sign-in and store services; our CDN distributes signed model files; exchange-rate providers supply market data. Each provider processes only the data needed for its service under its own terms. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention and security
We retain account data while your account is active and as required for security, purchases, disputes, or law. Tokens are separated by China/global edition, reviewer passwords are stored as server-side hashes, and purchase tokens are encrypted. No system is risk-free.
6. Your choices and contact
You can use the app as a guest, export local records, change your interface language and home currency, and delete your account from the app. Account deletion removes international account and shared-ledger data subject to mandatory retention. Contact 330182696@qq.com for access, correction, deletion, or questions. Children must use the service only where permitted by local law.
7. Menu translation and device information
Menu Translation performs OCR on your device. When you request an online translation, only recognized text, layout and detected-price references, source and target languages, and request identifiers are sent to our translation service; the photo is not uploaded. Sign-in requests also include your platform, interface locale, and time zone for security and regional operation.
