1. Agreement and eligibility
By using Backpacker Ledger you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter this agreement in your location; minors need any consent required by local law.
2. Guest and account use
Core local bookkeeping is available without an account. An international account is required for membership, profile, and shared ledgers. Keep your sign-in methods secure. China and international accounts are separate and cannot invite or migrate data across editions.
3. Records and shared ledgers
You own and are responsible for content you enter. Shared-ledger participants can see data shared with that ledger. Invite only people you trust and do not upload unlawful, harmful, or third-party confidential content.
4. Rates, OCR, and availability
Currency rates, OCR, Price Lens, statistics, and translations are estimates and may be delayed or wrong. Verify important prices and financial records yourself. The app is a bookkeeping tool, not financial, tax, or legal advice. Online services may be interrupted, especially across regions.
5. Acceptable use and intellectual property
Do not attack, automate abuse, bypass access controls, reverse engineer protected services, or infringe rights. We may suspend accounts needed to protect users or comply with law. The app, models, and branding remain the operator’s property; your records remain yours.
6. Liability, changes, and contact
